Measure & Layout

Our precision at every stage of the process distinguishes us from most other companies.

We create a precise laser template of your space using the LT-3D Laser Templator. This laser measurement technology allows us to take accurate measurements without removing your existing countertops, causing the least amount of disruption to you and your family.

This technology can reveal key issues such as bowed walls, unleveled cabinets, and structural problems. Knowing about problems ahead of time allows them to be fixed before installation.

In order for our laser to capture this data, the cabinets must be installed and/or the existing countertops must be cleared. To take accurate measurements, faucets, sinks, and appliances, particularly cooktops, must be present.

Following the completion of the laser measurement, you will receive an email confirming all selections, fixtures, and any changes to the measurements and the balance due. Once Once approved, including the digital layout, we will send your order to production.Using Slab Smith's exclusive VeinMatch software, we will create the best-fitting countertop design. Using this software, we precisely layout your project using the slabs of your choice. It ensures the stone's pattern, coloration, and veins flow smoothly and presents it in an easy-to-understand color layout for your review.   Our team will schedule installation once you provided final approval of all of the components.
